The balance of power in the State House of Representatives will remain split for two more months.
The Speaker of the House has now set a special election for March 25th to fill the seat of the late State Representative Matt Gergely.
Gergely passed away earlier this week following a medical emergency.
The house is now split evenly at 101 Republicans and 101 Democrats.
