Judges and lawmakers across the state will be receiving a pay raise in 2020.
Salaries will increase by 1.9 percent—which is tied to a state law that bases salaries changes on the consumer price index.
Governor Tom Wolf is the highest paid lawmaker at $201,000—but he donates his salary to charity. Rank-and-file lawmakers will see their base salary surpass $90,000.
Pennsylvania’s lawmakers are the third-highest paid in the country.
