Democratic and Republican State Lawmakers have introduced legislation that would regulate A.I. in healthcare.
The bipartisan legislation brought together between four house Democrats and one house Republican looks to provide regulation over A.I. technology in the medical field.
The bill would require patients to be told when A.I. is being used, that a human will be the decision maker in any use of A.I., and that any bias or discrimination prohibited by state law had been minimized in the system.
These rules would apply to insures, hospitals, and clinicians.
The bill has yet to be formerly introduced as state lawmakers continue to finished the budget.
