The state attorney general is joining other top law enforcement officers from around the country asking for clarification on “hemp.”
Dave Sunday joined with 38 other Attorneys General in sending a letter to Congress asking for immediate action on the federal definition of hemp as THC products continue to expand.
Sunday said that many of these products are “more potent that marijuana” with packaging that appeals to children. He included Delta-8, Delta-10, and THC-O, which can be purchased at many stores.
He believes there are bad actors who are exploiting a loop hole in the 2018 Farm Bill.
