State health officials have lowered the COVID-19 death toll by about 200 in Pennsylvania, according to their daily report.
The state now says there are 1,421 people who have died due to COVID-19.
Meanwhile here in Butler County, state health officials are now saying that there have only been six deaths attributed to COVID-19. The state had originally reported seven deaths on Wednesday.
It’s unclear why there was a drop in the number of reported deaths, but in nearby Allegheny County, health officials say there were instances of duplicate death reports.
There were also no new cases reported in Butler County.
Butler Memorial Hospital says they’re treating 10 patients for COVID-19, however none of those patients are in the ICU.
