The Pennsylvania State Police are changing some policies due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
According to a press release, a select number of non-emergency incidents may now be handled by phone by state police. This includes lost and found items, littering, identity theft, and other general request to speak with troopers.
State police say their protocol to emergencies and crimes in progress remains unchanged.
