Authorities are continuing their investigation into a recent case of unemployment fraud that impacted a local resident.
According to State Police, a Harrisville woman reported on Friday (March 10th) that an unknown person had been receiving unemployment benefits under her identity.
Officials say that this fraud was found while the victim was filing her taxes, and the suspect is believed to have received over $14,000 in benefits.
Police say that no arrests have been made at this time. Anyone with information about this case are asked to contact the Butler Barracks of the State Police.
