State police are releasing data from the Memorial Day weekend.
During the four-day period, state police investigated 756 crashes that led to 181 injuries and six fatalities. Police say alcohol played a role in 46 of those crashes—including one fatality.
Police also arrested 467 people for driving under the influence. That’s down from last year’s 547 arrests.
Police say they issued over 28,000 citations overall for other traffic violations, with speeding being the most common citation.
