State Representative Aaron Bernstine is seeking reelection.
The Republican representing the 8th Legislative District made the announcement yesterday.
Bernstine cited his strong commitment to the second amendment, opposition to government spending, and his pro-family stance as reasons for running again.
Bernstine was first elected in 2016.
The 8th District contains portions of southern and western Butler County along with portions of Lawrence County.
