A Butler man who went to the State Supreme Court over a ticket he received for riding a bike on a highway has been found guilty.
In 2021, Brendan Linton was riding his bicycle on Route 68 when he was pulled over and given a ticket.
The case reached the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, where the court ruled to throw out a misdemeanor charge but left the charge of Pedal cycle operated at safe speed not impede traffic.
On Tuesday, Linton was found to be guilty of the summary offense. There were no penalties issued in the case.
As of Wednesday, no appeals have been filed in the case.
