The state is making a major investment into contact tracing as part of their efforts to respond to the coronavirus.
The Department of Health announced a $23 million federally funded contract with Insight Global to recruit, hire, and train 1,000 paid contact tracing staff.
Officials say they will focus recruitment efforts to workers who lost their jobs due to the coronavirus pandemic.
