Pennsylvania is getting ready to launch an app that will let people know if they’ve been possibly exposed to the coronavirus.
The Department of Health expects the “COVID Alert PA” to be available in early September.
Officials hope the app will help break chains of transmission of the coronavirus. However, they noted its use is completely voluntary, but it will be more successful with more people using it.
