The state’s head of elections is reminding residents of important voting information and dates as the 2024 general election nears.
The final day to register to vote is October 21st, the last day to apply for a mail in ballot is Oct. 29th, Election Day is Nov, 5th, and county elections office needs to receive the mail in ballot by 8 p.m. Nov. 5th.
For voters planning on voting by mail, you will receive a new instruction guide that “institutes more uniformity in mail ballot materials across the Commonwealth’s 67 counties and reduce the chances of voter errors and confusion.”
The commonwealth has also provided a voter education tool, that breaks down all the information about the voting process as possible.
