Pennsylvania’s rainy day fund continues to grow.
State Treasurer Stacy Garrity says another $2.1 billion has been infused into the fund that is designed to help the state in a future economic downturn.
The total amount in the rainy day fund is now just under $5 billion.
Garrity says that if tax revenues were to stop being collected, the state’s general fund could be covered for around 40 days.
