The Pittsburgh Steelers open their training camp today at Heinz Field. Players began reporting Wednesday.
One player will not be returning as camp opens. 31-year old linebacker Vince Williams announced his retirement yesterday. Williams had been cut by the Steelers in March, but later re-signed for a smaller contract in April. He spent his entire eight-year career with the Steelers. He finishes his career with 20-1/2 sacks and two interceptions. The middle linebacker started 69 teams for the Black and Gold.
