The Pittsburgh Steelers and the Dallas Cowboys will meet in the annual Hall of Fame game in Canton, Ohio. The game will kick-off the preseason August 6th. This is the seventh appearance in the game for the Steelers.
Both teams have former coaches being inducted into the Hall of Fame this year, with Bill Cowher and Jimmy Johnson being enshrined. Former Steelers Troy Polamalu and Donnie Shell are also being inducted.
The Steelers received a compensatory pick in next month’s NFL Draft. These picks are awarded when a team loses more free agents than they sign, based on a complex formula. A total of 32 picks were announced by the NFL Tuesday, with New England receiving the maximum of four picks.
