The Pittsburgh Steelers have brought back one of their top Special Teams players when they signed Tyler Matakevich to a one-year contract. He was a seventh-round draft pick by the Steelers out of Temple in 2016. He had over 1,200 snaps on kicks with the Black and Gold, and in 2019, tied for the NFL lead with 16 special teams tackles. He spent the past four seasons with the Buffalo Bills after signing a free agent deal in 2020. He had over 1,300 special teams snaps with the Bills.
Players report to the Steelers training camp in Latrobe in one week.
