The Pittsburgh Steelers have made the first five cuts from their roster to reach a maximum of 80 players by last evening. Among those cuts were seventh-round draft pick Chris Oladokun, the quarterback who was the final selection of the team’s draft under then-general manager Kevin Colbert. He never appeared in a preseason game. A wide receiver, running back and kicker were among the cuts, as was linebacker Genard Avery, who had NFL experience with Philadelphia and Cleveland.
