Pittsburgh Steelers offensive lineman Marcus Gilbert will miss the next four games after being suspended by the NFL for violating its policy on performance enhancing substances. Gilbert will not return to the Steelers active roster until December 18th, meaning he will miss games against Green Bay, Cincinnati, Baltimore and New England. He will also lose nearly $1 million in salary. It is the fourth multi-game expulsion for a Steelers player over the past three seasons.
Last night in Monday Night Football: Atlanta defeated Seattle 34-31. Matt Ryan threw two touchdown passes for the Falcons, who also returned a fumble for a touchdown. Both teams are now 6-4.

Former NFL receiver Terry Glenn died in an automobile crash Monday in Dallas. He was 43. Glenn won the Biletnikoff Award as the nation’s top receiver in college while at Ohio State. He went on to play 12 seasons in the NFL with New England, Dallas and Green Bay.
