The Pittsburgh Steelers host the Washington Football Team this evening at Heinz Field. Kick-off is 5pm. Hear the pre-game beginning at 3pm on WISR 680am. The Steelers are favored by seven points.
Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is expected to play tonight after popping up on the team’s injured list over the weekend with a knee issue.
The Steelers will be without kicker Chris Boswell who has a hip injury. He will be replaced by Matthew Wright who was signed last week. He is the all-time leading scorer at Central Florida.
The Steelers enter the game 11-0. Washington is 4-7 and are battling for the NFC East Division lead. The New York Giants took a half-game lead with a 17-12 win over Seattle Sunday and improved to 5-7.
Also tonight – the San Francisco 49ers host the Buffalo Bills. Kick-off is 8:15pm.
Baltimore will host Dallas Tuesday for an 8:05pm kick-off.
The Cleveland Browns defeated the Tennessee Titans 41-35 in Nashville. The Browns were outscored 28-3 in the second half – but won after jumping out to a 38-7 lead by halftime. The Browns are now 9-3. The Titans fell to 8-4 and back into a tie with Indianapolis for first place in the AFC South. The Colts defeated Houston 26-20.
Kansas City defeated Denver 22-16 in the Sunday Night Football game and improved to 11-1. The Chiefs joined the New Orleans Saints in clinching playoff spots with wins Sunday. The Saints defeated Atlanta 21-16.
