The injuries continue to mount for the Pittsburgh Steelers, with offensive lineman Matt Feiler now out for the season after suffering an injury in the loss to Buffalo. He suffered a pectoral injury – as did Kevin Dotson who came in to the game to replace him.
The Steelers visit Cincinnati for a Monday Night Football match-up this weekend. Currently, the Steelers are 12-1/2 point favorites.
The Steelers received some help regarding the AFC North title quest last night – when Baltimore outlasted Cleveland 47-42 in a wild Monday Night game.
The loss drops the Browns to 9-4 – and two games behind the Steelers with three games remaining. Baltimore remains in the AFC playoff hunt at 8-5. They host Jacksonville this Sunday. Cleveland will visit the New York Giants.
Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, the reigning NFL MVP, had to leave the game in the fourth quarter due to cramping. When he left the field – Baltimore had a two score lead. Cleveland rallied to take the lead, while Ravens backup quarterback Trace McSorley went down with a knee injury. That forced Jackson to return-and he led the team back to the lead with a 44-yard touchdown pass to Marquise Brown and a last second 55-yard field goal to guarantee victory.
The Ravens added two points with a safety at the end of the game.
Before his exit, Jackson had rushed for two touchdowns.
McSorley, the former Penn State QB – left with a knee injury in that fourth quarter.
