The Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Tennessee Titans 20-16 last night in the NFL Thursday Night Football. Quarterback Kenny Pickett hit receiver Diontae Johnson for a three-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter to complete the Steelers third comeback victory in their last four games. It was Johnson’s first touchdown reception since he caught a Ben Roethlisberger pass in a playoff loss to Kansas City in a 2021 Wild Card playoff game.
The Steelers also scored a touchdown in the first quarter for the first time this season. Running back Najee Harris scored on a 10-yard run on the team’s opening drive.
Harris and Jaylen Warren combined to rush for 157-yards in the game. The Steelers added two Chris Boswell field goals.
The Steelers defense sacked Titans rookie quarterback Will Levis four times and picked him off on Tennessee’s final drive to close the game.
The Steelers are off until Sunday, November 12th when they host the Green Bay Packers.
Steelers linebacker Cole Holcomb suffered a serious knee injury in the first quarter and had to be carted off the field.
