Mitch Trubisky will be the Pittsburgh Steelers starting quarterback for their season-opener in Cincinnati this Sunday. Trubisky was named one of the five captains for the team Monday. He is joined by running back Najee Harris, defensive players Cam Heyward and TJ Watt, and Miles Killebrew on special teams as captains, which are voted on by teammates.
The Steelers quarterback depth chart lists Mason Rudolph behind Trubisky, with rookie Kenny Pickett listed third.
The NFL season begins Thursday with the defending Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams hosting the Buffalo Bills.
