The Steelers fell behind 17-3 by halftime, before scoring 13 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to earn their 10th victory of the season. Antonio Brown and Le’Veon Bell both had more than 100 yards receiving in the game. Bell added another 76 yards on the ground.
Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier was carted from the field after making a tackle in the first half. He reportedly suffered a spinal cord contusion and remains in a Cincinnati hospital.
The game was marred by 20 penalties, including a Bengals record 13 for 173 yards. Cincinnati linebacker Vontaze Burfict was also carted from the field in the second half after being hit by Steelers rookie wide receiver Juju Smith-Schuster.
