The Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the New Orleans Saints 20-10 Sunday afternoon at Acrisure Stadium. The win snapped a two-game losing streak and improved their record to 3-6 this season.
The Steelers rushed for over 200 yards for the first time in six years, while their defense held the Saints to 186 yards of total offense. Najee Harris led the Steelers rushing attack with 99 yards on 22 carries. The Steelers did not turn the ball over, while picking off New Orleans quarterback Andy Dalton twice.
It was the first NFL win for Kenny Pickett in a game that he started, and finished. He threw for 199 yards and rushed for 51. Pickett scored a rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter.
The Steelers will host the Cincinnati Bengals this Sunday with a 4:25pm kick-off.
The Steelers are tied again with the Cleveland Browns for last place in the AFC North. The Browns lost to Miami 39-17. Both teams are three games behind the first-place Baltimore Ravens, who were idle this week.
The Dolphins victory put them in first place of the AFC East when Buffalo fell to Minnesota 33-30 in overtime. The Vikings improved to 8-1.
