With the loss of safety DeShaun Elliott to a knee injury over the weekend, the Pittsburgh Steelers have acquired former second-round pick of the New England Patriots Kyle Dugger. The Steelers also received a seventh-round and sent the Patriots a sixth-round selection. The 29-year old Dugger was New England’s second selection in the 2020 draft. He has started 69 games for the Patriots, including four this season.
The Steelers host the Indianapolis Colts Sunday at 1pm. The 7-1 Colts are favored by three points over the 4-3 Steelers.
It was one of two trades New England completed Tuesday. The Patriots also traded pass rusher Keion White to San Francisco Tuesday.
