The Pittsburgh Steelers have named their team captains for the upcoming season. Defensive lineman Cam Heyward, outside linebacker T.J. Watt, quarterback Kenny Pickett and special teams stand-out Miles Killebrew were voted to the designations by teammates. It is the ninth consecutive season for Heyward, third for Watt.
The Steelers host San Francisco to begin their season Sunday afternoon.
Former Pitt running back Quadree Ollison was added to the Steelers practice squad over the holiday weekend. Ollison was a fifth-round draft pick by the Atlanta Falcons in 2019 and spent three seasons there. He was a Dallas Cowboy last season, then waived in the final cuts by Jacksonville last week.
