Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt has been named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week after his 3-1/2 sack performance in the win over Baltimore Sunday. Watt has 16 sacks this season in 10 games, and is on pace to approach former New York Giants linebacker Michael Strahan’s NFL single-season record of 22-1/2 sacks set in 2001.
He is just the 2nd player in NFL history to have at least 13 sacks in four consecutive seasons. The other player is Hall of Famer Reggie White.
