Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. won the pole for this Sunday’s Daytona 500. It is his third career pole, but first for his new race team JTG-Daugherty Racing. Alex Bowman will start on the front row with Stenhouse, Jr. Hear Sunday’s race on WBUT.
Erik Jones won Sunday’s Busch Clash at Daytona in a crash-marred race. He was one of six cars remaining on the track at the end of the race.
Nascar has announced changes to its Hall of Fame format. The induction process for the class of 2021 will reduce the number of inductees from five to three and split the nominees into two ballots. Two inductees will be selected from a Modern Era ballot of 10. The final inductee will be selected by an honors committee for a Pioneers Ballot.
