A portion of I-80 remains closed in the westbound direction after a massive tractor trailer pileup.
The accident happened around 12:30 a.m. overnight in the westbound lanes near the high-level bridge near Emlenton in Clarion County.
Reports indicate that there are up to seven tractor trailers involved in the accident.
It’s not clear if weather played a factor in the crash.
The crash shut down both lanes of I-80 from the Emlenton to Knox exits. The closure is now just in the westbound lanes.
There are also significant delays on off-ramps and side streets due to the closure.
