A series of strong storms rolled into the county Wednesday night, and some area residents are without power this morning.
According to First Energy, just over power is out for just over 300 homes as of 5 a.m. The outages are spread all throughout the county.
Around 9 p.m. last night, the Butler County 911 Center put the Butler Township and Saxonburg Fire Departments on standby after a funnel cloud was believed to be spotted near Old Plank Road.
However, no tornado watch or warning was ever issued.
