
Crews were on the scene of an accident this morning in Slippery Rock after a student was hit by a vehicle.
It happened after 7 a.m. at the intersection of Franklin Road and Vincent Street.
Dispatchers tell our newsroom that an elementary school student was hit at a bus stop. Other details are unclear on the crash at the moment.
A medical helicopter was initially called to the scene, but couldn’t fly due to weather.
Police shut down Franklin Road and Grove City Road for a time, but it has since been reopened.
