More information has been released about the woman who fell at McConnells Mill State Park over the weekend.
21-year-old Jocie Van Kirk is a Pittsburgh native and student at Slippery Rock University. She tells our news partners at WPXI that she was hiking with some friends around 3:00 Sunday afternoon when she slipped on a rock and some leaves.
She then tumbled down a cliff and eventually fell into a creek.
Van Kirk says she has fractures in her neck, back, and pelvis, but expects to be released from the hospital as soon as today.
