Local students are invited to join in a couple of regional art contests.
The Children’s Grief Poster Contest is sponsored by the Highmark Caring Place Caring Team with a theme of “How can you support a friend who is grieving?” Students in kindergarten through 12th grade can submit a hand-drawn entry on 11 by 17-inch paper.
Also Edgar Snyder and Associates is sponsoring the How to be a Hero coloring contest in cooperation with the Cameron Heyward Foundation. Kids in kindergarten through 5th grade can submit an entry on 8.5 by 11-inch paper in landscape orientation.
The deadline to submit entries for both of these contests is this Friday (1/30).
