A local business owner is one step closer to absorbing an adjacent property.
Butler Township Planning Commission has approved a subdivision plan involving Baldauf Autobody at 19 Pittsburgh Road.
Baldauf owners purchased the lot beside their business last year and tore down a vacant house on the property which is also zoned commercial. There are no plans to expand the business or do anything with the property at this time but Baldauf will retain half ownership of an unused right-of-way between that property and the next.
This change will next be considered and voted on by Township Commissioners at a public meeting later this month.
