A doctor in Venango County is facing charges for illegally prescribing drugs and falsifying information.
The attorney general’s office says 35-year-old Justin Adibi of Oil City was arrested after an investigation found he was using patient information to prescribe Oxycodone to pharmacies, where he would pick up the medicine himself.
Investigators say he was then giving the Oxycodone to his then-significant other, who was described as his “paramour.”
Adibi worked at two UPMC hospitals in Venango County. Officials say UPMC cooperated with the investigation.
