The Butler County Symphony Orchestra is modifying the fall schedule as a result of the ongoing issues related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The first two concerts of the upcoming season have been canceled including An Evening of Serenades in November and Holiday Traditions in December.
In place of those two programs, the Symphony will professionally produce two virtual chamber ensemble concerts that will be shared online free of charge. The first virtual performance will be titled “All Baroque” and feature Bach while the second is titled “A Brass Christmas” with planet of traditional holiday favorites.
A decision about the future of the remaining concerts planned for this season will be made later this year. The money already paid for tickets to the canceled shows can be donated towards the cost of producing the two virtual concerts or credited for use at a future show.
