A local organization will receive a state grant to help prepare for a special upcoming celebration.
America250PA has awarded the Butler County Symphony Association a $10,000 Semiquincentennial grant.
The money will be used to elevate the annual patriotic concert celebration “Music Under the Stars” into an even bigger draw for tourists as well as local residents.
This effort is also taking place in cooperation with Experience Butler County as part of the region’s celebration of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence next year.
