Pittsburgh Steelers star pass rusher T.J. Watt has been hospitalized with a lung issue after experiencing discomfort at the team’s practice facility Wednesday and his status for the team’s week 15 game is in jeopardy.
The Steelers host the Miami Dolphins for the Monday Night Football Game this weekend. Kick-off at Acrisure Stadium will be 8:15pm.
NFL Thursday Night Football:
–The Atlanta Falcons scored 17 straight fourth quarter points to defeat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 29-28 last night. Falcons kicker Zane Gonzales hit a 43-yard field goal as time expired. Atlanta quarterback Kirk Cousins threw for 373 yards and three touchdowns in the game. Tight end Kyle Pitts caught all three scores from Cousins. He became the first tight end to reach at least 150 yards and have three touchdowns since Shannon Sharpe in 1996.
The loss dropped Tampa Bay to 7-7 and a half-game behind Carolina in the NFC South with three games remaining. They do play the Panthers twice in their final three games. Atlanta is now 5-9, but have been eliminated from playoff contention.
