Those interested in getting an up-close view at some majestic birds are invited to a special event later this week at Moraine State Park.
On Friday, Preston’s Pearl will be setting sail from the McDanel’s Launch on the North Shore at 6 p.m. The Park Naturalist will lead those in attendance on a cruise that will feature views of eagles and osprey from the pontoon boat’s observation deck.
This event will continue until 8 p.m. Seating is limited, and tickets are $15 for adults, $13 for seniors and $8 for children ages 12 and up. Pre-registration is required, and can be made by calling the Owlet Gift Shop at 724-368-9185.
Those interested in attending are also reminded to dress for the weather, and to bring binoculars if they have them. Current health guidelines will be followed.
