Nearly three years after its debut in downtown Butler, the Rotary Butler Cultural District is hosting another gathering tomorrow.
“A Taste of McKean” is a “Happy Hour” that will take place Friday from 5 to 7:30 p.m. on Butler’s historic McKean Street leading up to shows at the Penn Theater and the Butler Little Theatre.
The evening will include a book tasting, wood turning demonstration, and live performance by the hobnob theater in the library courtyard as well as a pottery demonstration and show tunes from members of the Butler Musical Theatre Guild at the Maridon Museum.
Attendees will be able to view entries in a porch decorating contest and enjoy music from the Kleeman Brothers Band at the corner of McKean and Pearl. A $10 wristband will allow visitors to sample appetizers and adult beverages from local vendors and wristbands are also available for free with digital tickets for the performances after.
Visit the Butler Cultural District website for more information.
