Monday is the federal tax deadline.
It was extended earlier this year due to the pandemic.
If you have waited until the last minute, Pennsylvania Department of Revenue spokesperson Jeffery Johnson recommends filing online.
“For your Pennsylvania state returns, the Department of Revenue has a free online system available at mypath.pa.gov”
“It’s very user friendly and allow folks to file their returns, and make payments for free,” Johnson added.
Now, you can request a filing extension until October 15th.
That requires a filling out a specific form that can be found via tax professionals, tax software, or by finding the free file link on the IRS website.
