Residents in Buffalo Township will be paying more in taxes this year.
The township recently approved its 2025 budget, which will see a 4-mill tax increase for residents. The average homeowner will see an $88 increase this year in their property taxes.
Buffalo Township officials say the increase was needed to properly fund the budget.
This is the third straight year the township has increased the millage rate.
