A 16-year-old boy is facing arson charges following allegations he started a fire inside a Grove City apartment building.
Police say there were called to a fire at the Colony Apartments on Carrie Way last Tuesday around 2:30 p.m.
No one was hurt in the fire, but crews did have to evacuate the building.
During their investigation, police determined that a student from George Junior Republic fled the school and was hiding out inside the building when he allegedly started the fire.
The investigation also found that the teen had stolen packages that were delivered to the apartment.
His identity was not released by police.
