A teenager was seriously injured as a result of a motorcycle accident Tuesday afternoon near Portersville.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center shortly before 5 p.m. for a 14-year-old male with a head injury in the 100 block of Kildoo Road.
Crews from the Portersville Muddy Creek Township Volunteer Fire Department and Portersville EMS responded to the scene and requested a helicopter for medical transport.
A Stat-Med-Evac helicopter landed in a grassy field near the scene to transport the boy for treatment of unknown injuries. His condition is unknown at this time.
