This holiday travel period may be the largest in history according to AAA.
An estimated 81.8 million people are expected to travel at least 50 miles this Thanksgiving over 1.6 million more than last year.
This would make it the busiest travel period ever recorded.
The project worst time to travel will be from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., starting today and lasting until Monday. Minimal traffic is expected on Thanksgiving and the best time travel is before 11 a.m. and after 8 p.m. on Monday.
