College Football Saturday:
–#22-ranked Slippery Rock will host Clarion for the annual “Milk Jug” Game at Mihalik-Thompson Stadium. Kick-off is 1pm. Hear the game on The Rock Station 97.7fm beginning with the Coach Shawn Lutz Show at 12:30pm. It is Senior Day for Slippery Rock.
The Slippery Rock football program will be holding a 25th anniversary reunion of the football teams that won four PSAC championships in a row beginning in 1997 under the direction of coach Dr. George Mihalik. The team members will be honored at halftime.
–Pitt will travel to Stanford for a 3:30pm kick-off. The Panthers are 6-2 this season and are 14-1/2 point favorites over 3-5 Stanford.
–The Penn State Nittany Lions look to snap a four-game losing streak against #1-ranked Ohio State Saturday at noon. The Buckeyes are 7-0. Penn State is 3-4.
Grove City College will host St. Vincent College at 1pm.
Westminster is host to Allegheny College at 1pm.
