The Slippery Rock University men’s basketball team had their 12-game winning streak snapped in an 82-74 loss at Gannon in Erie last night. The Rock went through their worst shooting performance of the season, against the Golden Knights, who have had the worst offensive output in the PSAC this year. The loss slid The Rock one game behind first-place IUP.
The Rock women also lost at Gannon 75-69. Both teams host California Saturday.
The Duquesne Dukes defeated Rhode Island 75-72 last night. The Dukes remain one game behind George Mason in the Atlantic-10. They improved to 15-6 overall, and 6-2 in the A10.
