The Butler Radio Network will carry three games on-air tonight – with a mad scramble underway to qualify for the playoffs as the final week of WPIAL section play began last night.
Butler will host Pine-Richland for a basketball doubleheader tonight. Tip-off of the girls game is 6pm. Pre-game on WBUT begins at 5:50pm. The boys game will follow.
–Pine-Richland is currently in second place in Class 6A Section 1 with a 6-5 record and three games remaining. Butler is 4-8 in the section with slim playoff hopes still alive. They visit Fox Chapel Friday. The Foxes lost 60-47 to New Castle last night.
The Knoch boys host North Catholic for a 7:30pm. WISR pre-game begins at 7:15pm. A Knights win locks up the Class 4A Section 1 title.
