A Butler man and two juveniles are facing charges after causing over $70,000 in damages to a building in Lyndora.
Butler City Police were called to the former Pullman Standard building on February 20th for ongoing vandalism. When police arrived, they discovered 21-year-old Matthew Wade and two juveniles.
Wade is accused of having a metal hammer and a BB gun, while one juvenile had a CO2 air pistol and the other a metal crowbar.
The man who called the police, is a contractor for the building and he claims the damage done to windows in the building is an estimated $26,000. There was also damage to antique wood work which the man estimated the value at $50,0000.
Wade was charged with felonies criminal mischief and criminal trespassing.
